The acid test for any story is if the target audience approves. Here is an excerpt of what Bonnie, Katelyn’s mom wrote about The Hyrax Song.

Hi Cat,

She loved it!

Katelyn finished The Hyrax Song this weekend, and she says she “really, really, really liked it.” Her more specific comments were:

–          She likes how everybody worked together.

–          She liked that no matter what they look like, they are friends.

–          She was pretty excited that this book is part of a series.

–          She says there was nothing she didn’t like in it.
