The Pond of Reflection Coming in the Spring

Spike Productions is excited to announce we are in the creative works on a new BRP children’s story called, The Pond of Reflection. This story is a fun adventure fairy tale about a king’s daughter, (where the mighty and beloved king just happens to be a mouse), who rides off on her father’s steed on a quest to discover who she is. On her journey she befriends a toad and an owl who tell her about a legendary pond hidden deep within the forests of the king’s realm called The Pond of Reflection. Venturing on together, they learn about themselves and each other searching for this secret place.

Spike Productions is delighted to team up with Boulder artist Brooke Connor of Brooke Connor Design to illustrate this fun coming-of-age story.

The Basketful Relief Project (BRP) Is Ready to Start Donating to Yemen Famine Relief!

Happy New Year

Because of a generous donation to the BRP, as of January 8, 2020 both books: The Little Book of Why and Get to Bed! have met their publishing cost goal. Spike Productions is grateful and we in turn have kicked off the 2020 new year with our own donation to the BRP Save The Children Yemen famine relief fundraising page.

Now that we have successfully covered the publishing cost of these books, two wonderful things happen!

  1. From now on, 85% of profit proceeds will be donated to the BRP Save The Children Yemen famine relief fundraising page continually, as long as either book sells and the fundraising page is active.
  2. Spike Productions will create and publish another beautiful children’s story to add to the BRP selection! An adventure fairy tale called, The Pond of Reflection is now in the works!

Here’s a review of the financials for both books since they launched in September, 2019

Ready to buy a book so we can start funding Yemen famine relief in earnest?

Purchase The Little Book of Why on BookBaby for $21.68, and Get to Bed! on BookBaby for $23.27.
